Yes, you can.
If the document opened by smaconne has attachments, a list of attachments is automatically displayed at the bottom of the document page.
Tap the link of the attachment name to see the attachment.
If a rich text field is set to be displayed and a file is attached to there, the attachment icon will be displayed. But the attachment will not be displayed when the icon is tapped.
This is due to the following two reasons.
- Control the browsing/deleting/adding of attachments from a security perspective.
These can be controlled by setting the "Attachment" option in the Form Info. Please refer to the "smaconne User's Manual" for more information.
- The icons in rich text field are hard to tap, so make them easy to tap and easy to use.
We have also received requests to hide the attachment icons in the rich text field because it is confusing if it is not available.
This is not to be hidden for two reasons.
- If you want to prohibit to see to the attachments, the attachment field will be hidden. In this case, if the icon in the rich text field is hidden, it will not be obvious that there are attachments.
- If the document has multiple attachments, the icons in the rich text field are displayed to determine which file corresponds to which.
The displaying of attachments is depend on the environment of your smart device. For example, if the OS of the smart device is not supported, or there is no app installed on the smart device that can open the attached file, you can not see the content of attachments.
