The contents of the rich text field are not displayed

2017/3/31 Created.
2019/9/17 Updated.

smaconne loads and displays the contents of rich text fields asynchronously. So, when smaconne displays the document page with read mode, it retrieves the contents of the rich text field in parallel while retrieving the data of the document.  The reason why the contents of rich text fields are not displayed is that some error occurred during this parallel loading.
One of the possible causes of the error is a block on the Domino server due to a cross-origin request.

If smaconne and the Notes app are referring to different Domino servers, please see "Server Configurations for Using Multiple Domino Servers" in the "smaconne User's Manual".

If smaconne and the Notes app are referring to same Domino server, please see the following
  • Confirm of the protocol
One possible cause is that the protocol of the URL accessing smaconne is different from the protocol specified in the App Configuration document.
For example, if you have specified the URL accessing smaconne as "http" as shown below, you have selected "https" under "Protocol" in the App Configuration document.
http://demo.bcom.co.jp/sdcnctr.nsf/vwApp
  • Confirm of the host name
The next possible cause is the "Host Name (FQDN)" in the Basic Info in the smaconne App Configuration document is not consistent with the followings
  • The "Fully qualified Internet host name" in the "Basic" tab of the server document
  • "Host name" in the "Internet Protocol" tab - "HTTP" tab of the server document
(If you're using Internet site document, it is the "Host names or addresses mapped to this site" on the Basic tab of the Internet site document.
Be sure to set the same host name for the above two items as for the "Host Name (FQDN)" in the App Configuration document.
