BestCommunications, Inc. has released an updated version of smaconne (build: 2022090501) with additional/improved features on September 15, 2022.
The update includes the following contents. For details, please refer to the "smaconne User Manual".
- Major upgrade of rich text editor to CKEditor 5
- Major version upgrade from CKEditor 4 (4.19.0) to CKEditor 5 (35.0.1).
https://ckeditor.com/ckeditor-5/ - Until the Q2 2022 version, there was a difference in the functionality (toolbar buttons) available between the mobile versions and PC versions of the rich text editor, but starting with this quarter's version, the same functionality will be available in both.
- In CKEditor 5, the buttons on the toolbar are easier to operate. In addition, the contextual toolbar is displayed each time a table or embedded image is manipulated, making the operation more intuitive.
- Improved view action buttons so that they can be easily hidden on each view page
- Multiple views to hide action buttons can now be selected using check boxes in the "View Action Configuration" document.
- This allows the view action button to be hidden on any view page without writing any @functions or JavaScript.
- Improved document linking and other conversion processes
- The conversion logic for links to a Notes document, view, or application has been streamlined for faster processing.
- This allows the document page with read mode to be displayed in less time.
Upgraded from 1.13.0 to 1.13.2.
- Even faster loading times
Reduced the size of JavaScript libraries and stylesheets to about 20-30 %.
- Original label function added to the "Excel Linkage" function
- Labels can now be displayed in the default form of Notes apps created with "Excel Linkage" function.
- Since the Notes form does not have a label function, we added our own form and view for labels to display them.
- Notes apps created with the "Excel Linkage" function up to the Q2 2022 version will not have these forms and views, so if you want to display labels, please re-create your Notes app in this quarter's version.
