CKEditor 4 developer (CKSource Holding LTD) support will end in June 2023.
No security patches will be released for CKEditor 4 after June 2023, and technical support will end.
CKEditor 4 was the rich text editor used to edit rich text fields in smaconne until the Q2 2022 release (build: 2022060601).
Customers using smaconne versions up to the Q2 2022 release (build: 2022060601) should upgrade to the latest version of smaconne.
The smaconne versions released in the Q3 2022 (
build: 2022090501) and later implement the successor CKEditor 5, which is lighter and has more functions. Of course, you can continue to edit rich text fields created with CKEditor 4.
